The Air Creation factory is located in the lower south of France, in the township of Aubenas, which is in the beautiful Provence of the Ardeche. The Air Creation team are experienced, professional and warm - you feel like part of the family the moment you walk in the door. The factory has a professional calm atmosphere which is complimented with a color decor influenced by red... and an enormous array of winning trophies.!
The product assembly areas are in perfect order, organised and acutely clean. The sail loft is above the assembly areas and has an air of extreme accuracy... computerised laser equipment with several clever operators constructing the sails, seats and all the goodies you find in an Air Creation machine.
To experience how the largest microlight aircraft manufacturer efficiently produces the finest products in the world - is a true experience in quality control and technological expertise. Air Creation have an extensive factory complex with aircraft test flight airstrip, alongside a Military Aerodrome - with a flight training school just 100 mtrs to the north of their private strip.
Product testing equipment, load cells, jigs and fixtures are in use everyday... something new, or further evaluation of a product component prior to certification... everywhere you look - you see quality and integrity.
The assembly area for trikes is full of engines, propellors, cockpits, wheels, struts and plenty of nuts and bolts. Assembly of seven to ten trikes at time are in the production schedule all at different stages prior to ground test and flight testing. Moving into the wing assembly area which is specifically orientated towards wing construction and fine tuning - full of color and shape. This is the nest of the magnificent Air Creation flexwing butterfly... a floor of wings - Fun 450's, Kiss 450's and iXess 13 & 15's and a few new wings preparing to be released.
The enormous paperwork process of Quality Control is evident at all stations. The assembly procedures for each product are checked at different stages by different personnel, with the Final Check Inspection prior to flight test, conducted by the Chief Inspector - who has no connection with the product during assembly. This superior method of Quality Control for all Air Creation products - requires dedicated staff and a management team that inspire safety in all areas of production manufacturing of the finest flexwing microlights. All Air Creation wings have a stable, predictable stalling characteristic... no tendency to wander off heading, drop a wing or become pitch unstable. The flight controls are firm and remain responsive - as you approach stall speed you will recognise the vertical attitude is difficult to hold, and once the wing has approached the stalling angle - the aircraft will gently pitch down without any sudden or rapid descent.
All Air Creation wings are subject to Static Load Tests - the wings are tested in compliance to the D.G.A.C. Design Requirements ~ 6G Positive Loading at 25 degree pitching moment, and 4G Negative Loading. These extreme tests are conducted for a duration of two (2) minutes to substantiate zero deformation of airframe, sail fabric and wing structures, prior to acceptance by the D.G.A.C.
The German - DULV Pitch Testing Requirements which all Air Creation wings additionally satisfy - is substantiated in how these remarkable flexwings handle and perform. The control pressures at speed remain constant under a variety of conditions and the inflight adjustable trimming system fitted to certain models is easy to operate, and allows you to fly 'hands-off' in comfort. You will immediately notice the cockpit ergonomics... passenger and pilot have ample space without compromising the pilot's ability to command this exquisite machine. The pilot foot controls are stirrup style and easily adjustable to accommodate almost any size. No need for tools.. simply remove the quick pin release and simply slide the pedals to your desired position. The seating is velour and have adjustments to give all angles of comfort to the most extreme stature occupants.

Price Notice: Our stated website 'Product Price' is a 'mid-market rate' as described by every world currency service agency. Our website Product - AUD $/Value - is only to be used as a market guide - which is regularly updated depending upon the Euro 'mid-market' exchange rate variables. Individual precise sales price and warranty conditions of all Air Creation products are stated on a separate document for orders taken for individual products, options including packing, freight and Goods & Services Tax.
Every product order is considered firm - once the Purchase Order is received with a 30% deposit of total price including the shipping fee to Australia - this amount must be paid before order is despatched from the factory - France. Upon arrival of Product Order in Australia - Customs fees, associated clearance charges and GST will be charged seperately before delivery to customer. All aircraft orders are custom structured to accommodate the best exchange rates at time of order and are tailored in a personal manner to each individual customer to achieve the most effective actual price. The delivery time will be stated by the factory for each order - this delay is usually several weeks, depending on factory production schedules.
All aircraft must be delivered to the Technical Station in Alice Springs for assembly, completion of importing Quality Control Procedures, RA-Aus Registration and Flight Test Report. All customers will be require to attend an aircraft familiarisation / maintenance training course with the delivery of their new flexwing microlight aircraft. Air Creation in Australia has several alternative concepts for extended visits to our Technical Station with special - Territorian Accommodation Packages available for the usually 2-3 days aircraft training course.

| All Air Creation products are shipped in solid wooden crates. You can select freight by sea or air - which ever you prefer. Aircraft assembly is simple and efficient at our fully equipped Technical Station with a comprehensive Quality Control System to manage the traceablity of your machine. Once your aircraft is registered and cleared for delivery you may wish to fly the great Outback Australia prior to your departure... or you may wish to fly home.
Alternatively we will have several freight options available and we can deliver your aircraft country-wide. Please contact us for different solutions of delivery to assist you with your decision. |
