The Air Creation factory is located in the lower south of France, in the township of Aubenas, which is in the beautiful Provence of the Ardeche. The Air Creation team are experienced, professional and warm. You feel like part of the family the moment you walk in the door. The factory has a professional calm atmosphere which is complimented with a color decor influenced by red hues and an enormous array of our winning trophies.
The product assembly areas are in perfect order, organised and acutely clean. The sail loft is above the assembly areas and has an air of extreme accuracy. Computerised laser equipment with several clever operators constructing the sails, seats and all the goodies you find in an Air Creation machine.
The Air Creation experience
To experience how the largest microlight aircraft manufacturer efficiently produces the finest products in the world, is a true experience in quality control and technological expertise. Air Creation have an extensive factory complex with aircraft test flight airstrip, alongside a Military Aerodrome, with a flight training school just 100mrs to the north of their private strip.
Product testing equipment, load cells, jigs and fixtures are in use everyday, something new, or further evaluation of a product component prior to certification. Everywhere you look, you see quality and integrity.
The assembly area for trikes is full of engines, propellers, cockpits, wheels, struts and plenty of nuts and bolts. Assembly of seven to ten trikes at time are in the production schedule all at different stages prior to ground test and flight testing. Moving into the wing assembly area which is specifically orientated towards wing construction and fine tuning, full of color and shape. This is the nest of the magnificent Air Creation flexwing butterfly, a floor of wings. Fun 450's, Kiss 450's and iXess 13 & 15's and a few new wings preparing to be released.
Quality control
The enormous paperwork process of Quality Control is evident at all stations. The assembly procedures for each product are checked at different stages by different personnel, with the Final Check Inspection prior to flight test, conducted by the Chief Inspector, who has no connection with the product during assembly. This superior method of Quality Control for all Air Creation products requires dedicated staff and a management team that inspire safety in all areas of production manufacturing of the finest flexwing microlights. At the Air Creation in Australia - Technical Station, we stock a range of parts and components to supply our customers with an exclusive overnight freight delivery service to major cities, and next day delivery to smaller townships, anywhere in Australia.
Our Technical Station is fully equipped to conduct wing / airframe overhauls and trike undercarriage maintenance training with on-site accommodation, just minutes from the CBD of Alice Springs. Our customers are able to enjoy a total experience in understanding all aspects to owning their dream machine with state-of-the-art instructional equipment and access to our unique Quality Control System.
For parts service, email us for a complete parts list be sure to include the Type / Model and Serial Number of the trike, wing or engine. We can send you the relevant parts catalogue for your aircraft. When you order from the parts catalogue, be sure to complete all details requested on our Quality Control Purchase Order Request. For traceable components you will be required to complete and return separate documentation to maintain the documentary integrity of your aircraft, which will also assist in maintaining the resale value of your machine, should you ever wish to upgrade your aircraft.
