Flying Microlights in Australia - 2010
It's for you to enjoy, safer than ever, beyond Adventure.![]()
You can now fly the finest European flexwing technology that oozes sophisticated science beyond your imagination.
The aerodynamic stability, low noise efficiency and pilot cockpit ergonomics of the Air Creation machines, will give you a positive sense of supreme security, even in the most extreme outback desert air.
Air Creation in Australia has the first imported world class a.r.v. TANARG 912 ~ iXess 15 high performance wing in Australia.
Note: RA-Aus Acceptance Certificate issued 20th June 2007. Air Creation microlight sport aircraft have compliance with French DGAC, German DULV, England BCARS, America LSA and NAA Design Requirements.
The Air Creation - Tanarg 912 iXess is a high performance microlight that is stable, predictable and has won the World Microlight Championships several times. The unique safety and structural features of all Air Creation Aircraft represent over 28 years in design development by the Air Creation Team.
You just have to see these amazing sport aircraft to appreciate the mastery of flexwing construction..

Fly with Confidence
You can fly with confidence - all Air Creation wings offer truly awesome in-flight performance, which have proven certification to the definitive German DULV Pitch Stability Testing Requirem
ents.
The real safety of all delta flexwings is in the pitch stability of the wing. Without a tail - flexwings basically rely on wing twist, washout and trailing edge reflex control.
You now have a choice in flexwing aerodynamic safety!
These amazing sport aircraft are simply flexable softwings by design with a delta shape and can fly for 4 to 5 hours at about 50 to 85 knots (Flight tested to 200 klm/hr). Delta flexwing microlights are relatively easy to fly and have certain aerodynamic characteristics that differentiate these remarkable aircraft from rotor craft or three axis aircraft (Cessna / Glider).
Flying Skills, Aircraft & the Future
Flexwings are extremely difficult to spin, basically its almost impossible. Although, very good hang glider pilots are able to flat spin high performance hang gliders. Flexwings have a rigid leading edge and a flexible trailing edge, which by design enhances flight stability of the aircraft. The airframe is aluminium tubular construction with an 'A' Frame and flying cables connecting the structure. The sail is usually dacron which has curved sail ribs or battens to give the wing an aerodynamic shape. The actual facts of how you control the characteristics of lift, weight, thrust and drag are explained in our Information Downloads.

The European Microlight industry is significantly larger than Australia, with more than thirty thousand pilots flying microlights throughout the countries of France, England, Italy, Spain and Germany. These amazing flying machines may be operated from land, water and even snow. The ultimate freedom machine Air Creation.
The future of weightshift microlight flying in Australia is very positive with undiscovered territory to be adventured, and the growth of microlight competitions raising the sports image. Recreational flying is exceptionally safe and reasonably affordable.
You'll never never know, if you never never go. 'Up-We-Go!'
