In the past and to this current day, the Australian flexwing microlight industry is predominately Airborne products... So why are there so few, good, safe, certified imported microlights flying in Australia?
The CAO 95.32 of 1990, only allowed UK BCAR Section S trikes to be legally imported and operated in Australia. This unfortunate legal situation has restricted trade for many importers in Australia which has not allowed many pilots the choice to fly anything...but the Aussie machines and the Section S UK aircraft.
In 2006, CAO 95.32 evolved with amendments to allow certain international microlights to be imported to Australia, providing individual machines of type have certification to a recognised NAA Certification Design Standard.
In 2007, after twelve years of effort to fly Air Creation machines legally in Australia.. the results of Chris's personal conviction, dedication, and patience to fly the finest delta flexwing microlights on the planet evolved to reality!
In Australia, you NOW have a choice to fly many of the great flexwing microlights from around the world... the microlight industry is enormous in Europe, England and Africa.There are various types of microlight designs that are similar, as many of the smaller manufacturers simply copy the better designs on the market.
